Will Original Xbox One gain 4K software support?

I'm confused, at launch, Microsoft touted that the Xbox one supports 4k. Obviously games can't, but streaming apps (or maybe even the user interface) could, even the website still says it supports 4k, i bought my 4k TV last fall, in the hopes of this year
the system getting a software update to allow apps/interface to support 4k. But it seems now Microsoft is only advertising the Slim and Scorpio models to support 4k. So is there any evidence that the original will gain 4k support or was it a play on wording?

4K content in Xbox one

The original Xbox One cannot produce 4k images. Only the Xbox One S can (sampling) and the Xbox One X (true 4k).

The Xbox only has 1.4 Hdmi output which was ment to be able handle 4K since xboxs release 4K has gone to a 2.0 hdmi output so Microsoft and Sony at first where right that they would handle 4K put tech moved on and now it's not the case if you want 4K you
will have to get new consoles

While the original Xbox One is technically capable of supporting 4K gaming and video, it has an HDMI 1.4a port, meaning it can only output 4K at 30Hz, which is very limiting. The Xbox One adds support for HDMI 2.0a, so it now supports proper 4K 60Hz output

The xbox one s has a 4k blu ray player and supports 4k streaming which the xbox one dont do. Also it has a better Performance than the original xbox one.

Of course Xbox One X supports 4K and HDR for both compatible video content and games, but Xbox One S should support 4K video content and HDR color palettes for games. The original first-gen Xbox One unfortunately will not support either.

Hello again, in media execution, the Xbox One S has support for Blu-ray media, and internal at 4k at 60 frames per second, while Xbox One fat does not support Blu-ray media in 4k, however, it has support for internal media (downloaded) in 4k, although limited to 30 frames per second, largely due to the 1.4 HMDI port of Xbox One fat, which was replaced by HDMI 2.0 on xbox one s, thus gaining in transmission speed.
