    Will not start the flight simulator


    I've played with FS for several days. Today it loads up the the start screen and asks to press any key to start. spins a little and goes back the the start page asking to press any key to start. the game will not start no matter how many times I press
    a key.

    Microsoft Flight simulator downloader keeps freezing and crashing.

    Hi!

    Did you double check if maybe the Microsoft Flight simulator icon/app appears via Windows search?
    (Press windows key and start typing " Microsoft Flight Simulator", if yes, press right-click on in, and select delete

    Restart your PC and try again.

    Did you also check if the files for flight simulator was deleted from WindowsApps / XboxGames folder?

    Flight Simulator 2020 not loading the launcher

    I've just encountered the same problem after a ZoneAlarm and Flight Simulator update.

    When I try to start FS, nothing happens at all. I've found the solution is to turn off Zone Alarm Anti Ransomware before starting Flight Simulator. You can turn it back on once FS has started.

    Flight Simulator X isn't. That is an old game. However Microsoft Flight Simulator is.

    Here's how I fixed it:

    Open your start menu

    Right click on Microsoft Flight Simulator

    Choose More>App Settings

    Scroll down to the "Reset" section

    Click both the "Repair" button, and also the "Reset" button.

    Re-launch Microsoft Flight Simulator
