Will not let me play games with gold game

Hey not sure if anyone can help shed some light on this.for past couple weeks I have been playing jurassic world Evolution (which I might add is awesome) but all of a sudden it wont let me play it keeps saying looks like you need to renew xbox live gold
or xbox game pass ultimate...which is not true as I console share with someone who pass monthly and also its letting me play other games with gold and game pass game just this one game its not letting me Help !! XD I have tried resetting xbox not playing for
few hours,uninstalling and reinstalling making sure I do have the pass by loading other games =/ .

I would suggest you do the following in this order:

1. Remove all profiles from the console

2. Power cycle/ reset the console

3. Add the profile that has the subscriptions first and check that it has been

designated the Home Xbox then add your profile.

As you can know how annoying this would be xD ! I would totally do it but the fact that I can play styx which is also games with gold I'm playing online and talking in parties which is odd

I think i figured it out, my xbox live subscription ran out between getting the game and letting it download and booting it up to play it. apparently my xbox games with gold won't let me play in between gold subscriptions. I wanted to do some single-players
while on gold hiatus for a few days, but that won't let me.

so i need to be gold to play ? because this is the only game that wont let me play online ....

Gold is required to play online. They have announced that they are removing that for free to play games, but that has not started yet.
