    So I've been wondering - why is the Jammer the only thing that the Engineer can't earn points from (other than Smoke Grenades)? The Jammer can be a massively important item to a team winning a game, but other than the 150 "Used Next to an Objective" points
    (which is often a bad place to put the Jammer), it gets no points at all for it being used.

    I figure that since the Intel items give 200 points for Intel Assists, the Jammer should give 100 points every time it blocks an Intel item, and 75 points every time an enemy dies within its radius.

    Something and as influential as the Jammer should give something more than just the cold recognition that you're probably the reason your team didn't get murked half as much as they were going to without your help.

    OTR scanning...........WTF !?

    Thanks for the info. Damn......... missed the Jammer at my last last decision point. I have seen the Jammer icon on my screen, does that mean a team member is using a jammer to stop the scanning?

    Motion Sensor Deployments

    Initially, this was my Equipment choice. Then I would find myself abandoning the motion sensor to stay away from Hacker users. Eventually I began to love the Jammer. I can leave the jammer wherever and it still blocks the enemy radar, causing them to think
    someone is there, and it even screws up there claymores and other equipment. I will often leave the jammer in a high traffic area just to give the opposition and extra obstacle. The jammer also blocks the enemies comm line so they can't hear incoming killstreaks...

    Kinda like I always loved the napalm, counter spy plane setup. I would call in napalm then quickly launch counterspy so they couldn't see exactly where the strike was landing.

    Anyways, no motion sensor for me.

    Jet tips (please add)

    Beam scanning, ECM jammer, Guided misiles all you need to play rush

    Air radar, flares / jammer , guided missle, then you are sorted for conquest.

    I actually LOVE the idea of the jammer acting as an anti-noob-tube shield. That is brilliant. I would definitely drop the sentry and go back to the jammer if it worked like that.

    i agree , i always use the jammer , and it stinks that you dont get points for it. although using the jammer next to the objective gets you 300 this weekend because of the Double Xp.
