since you guys continue to lock my account for exchanging a word or two with all the hackers and modders on bo2 and ghosts i will not be paying for xbox live gold ever again. Congratulations you lost a great customer im 27 and live in america and im free
to use whatever vocabulary i choose to and you are violating the constitution of the united states of america of freedom of speech. So you lost a customer who has spent 1000's of $ over the past 3 years. Xbox is a joke enjoy the modders and hackers since nobody
is dealing with that they are only dealing with people who say a curse word or two gimme a break

you might want to Read the text you are quoting

Here is a shock for you even upheld by the supreme Court

Freedom of speech doesn't overrule private authority or allow you to harm others

Anyone can remove you out of thier homes or businesses for saying anything they don't like or harming anyone

It's not a hammer you can blindly swing and yes all networks even Sony will suspend you for such axtions

No you are NOT free to say whatever you want nor does that violate your freedom of speach. You may want to do your research on what Freedom of speech covers before using it as a defense.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress
    of grievances."

Xbox is not congress nor are the a part of any government so freedom of speech doesnt protect you in that instance.

Freedom of speech does NOT cover private networks/companies. When it comes to private networks or companies you have to abide by their rules.

First off, the "the hackers and modders on bo2 and ghosts" you refer to are doing this on Call of Duty services which are run and managed, NOT by Microsoft but by Activision.

It's their game, it's their servers. You're just using the Xbox to get to that server.

    1) For account suspensions or bans, you can find out more if you sign in at this site with your account at
    https://enforcement.xbox.com

    2) No one here on the Xbox Forums or at Xbox Support can provide the reason or proof why you were banned.

    3) No one here on the Xbox Forums or at Xbox Support can change the state of ANY suspension or ban.

When you purchase a subscription to Xbox Live Gold, you agree to follow the rules of that said service.

    * - Below are just a couple of excepts of those agreements.

    Microsoft Services Agreement

You are free to use whatever language you want. You account is NOT free from the consequences of your actions.

I've seen the statement time and again "you are violating the constitution of the united states of america of freedom of speech."

Rights also have a level of responsibility.

This is a service that you're paying for. This service, as most do, have rules in place. And if you can't abide by those rules, then this is most likely not the service for you.

I am just one user, of many, who use this service. I have reasonable expectations for the service and it's my choice to pay for the service.

You have the choice to make the community better. You have a choice to be active in reporting others and being a positive member of the community on Xbox.

    Have a good day.

    * 3. Code of Conduct.

    • a. By agreeing to these Terms, you’re agreeing that, when using the Services, you will follow these rules:
      • i. Don’t do anything illegal.
      • ii. Don’t engage in any activity that exploits, harms, or threatens to harm children.
      • iii. Don’t send spam. Spam is unwanted or unsolicited bulk email, postings, contact requests, SMS (text messages), or instant messages.
      • iv. Don’t publicly display or use the Services to share inappropriate Content or material (involving, for example, nudity, ****, pornography, graphic violence, or criminal activity).
      • v. Don’t engage in activity that is false or misleading (e.g., asking for money under false pretenses, impersonating someone else, manipulating the Services to increase play count, or affect rankings, ratings, or comments).
      • vi. Don’t circumvent any restrictions on access to or availability of the Services.
      • vii. Don’t engage in activity that is harmful to you, the Services, or others (e.g., transmitting viruses, stalking, posting terrorist content, communicating hate speech, or advocating violence against others).
      • viii. Don’t infringe upon the rights of others (e.g., unauthorized sharing of copyrighted music or other copyrighted material, resale or other distribution of Bing maps, or photographs).
      • ix. Don’t engage in activity that violates the privacy of others.
      • x. Don’t help others break these rules.
    • b. Enforcement. If you violate these Terms, we may stop providing Services to you or we may close your Microsoft account or Skype account. We may also block delivery of a communication (like email or instant message) to or from the Services
in an effort to enforce these Terms or we may remove or refuse to publish Your Content for any reason. When investigating alleged violations of these Terms, Microsoft reserves the right to review Your Content in order to resolve the issue. However, we cannot
monitor the entire Services and make no attempt to do so.

What are examples of content that is prohibited in Xbox Live?

(Note: the examples below are just a few examples of Content prohibited by the Microsoft Code of Conduct. Just because something isn’t on this list doesn’t mean it’s OK.)

Content that could harm or harass a person, including yourself, or an animal. For example

    • Profane words or phrases
    • Suicide-related content
    • Negative speech (including hate speech or threats of harm) directed at people who belong to a group, including groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, language, gender, age, disability, veteran status, religion, or sexual orientation/expression
    • "Noise", which is excessive speech intended to interfere with or disrupt another person's or group's ability to enjoy a game or app on Xbox Live
    • Content showing or promoting animal abuse
