    Will I violate ToS if I keep my xbox live account in another region ?


    As the title says, I currently have an US xbox live account that I created in early days of Xbox Live when it was not available in my country (Brazil).

    Since then, Xbox Live came to Brazil but I decided to not migrate my account so I still use it on my Xbox 360 to download free games, Games With Gold offers and everything else that is not region locked.

    I´ve been using this account for yers but my concern is whether just keeping my account as is, I mean, without changing region, if I am violating any Term of Service ?

    Region Changing Problems

    You should only change your account region if you moved to a new region. Just changing it for any other reason violates the TOS.

    You are not violating the Terms of Service by using an account region differently from your own physical location yet you will have difficulties downloading some games that require you to keep your account region the same as your location.

    If you can live with that enjoy gaiming!

    You would be severely restricted since you need to have a matching account region to download 360 games with gold most triple. A titles anywyss

    I would just like to point out, any attempt to circumvent region restrictions with Internet tunneling such as VPN's and Proxy Servers is a violation of the Xbox LIVE ToS.
