Will I be able to download M rated demos at seventeen (Bo3 beta)

(Hope this is in the right place)

I'd like to be able to download the beta for Black Ops 3 when it comes out, provided it releases after my birthday. I'm turning seventeen in early August, and the beta will probably be rated M (as far as I know, M is generally for "seventeen and up"). Will
I be able to download this myself at that point, or would I still need a parent account until I reach 18?

I know I could just use a parent account, but back in January I couldn't access the Halo 5 beta because my dad forgot the password to his Microsoft account (my only parent account) and Microsoft customer support handled the situation poorly. The website locked
us out of the account for about a week or two until my dad was allowed to change the password unless he already remembered the old one, and by that point I missed the entire beta. He never changed the password by the way, so I'm kind of at a loss at what to
do.

Should I just make him a new account and download the beta through it? I'd like to know ahead of time. :/

Download Problems

Are you able to download any other demos besides M rated?

Is there any errors when you try to download the M rated demos?

 

Can i buy full M rated games on the marketplace even if im under 17/18?

As long as your settings will allow it, then yes you can download paid for M-rated content. You just won't be able to download M or RP rated demos.

Apologies for the delay in getting this answered for you.

I've just spoken to another Ambassador (FearedNightmare) and he's said that, to play M rated games on a child account, you would need to be 18+ otherwise the Xbox One would not permit you to play.
