    Will I also own Minecraft Java if I own Minecraft Bedrock in Android?


    With the recent announcement from minecraft's OneVanilla (from this: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/6657208607501?ref=launcher)

    I     have purchased the game from Google's Play Store, Minecraft Bedrock in android. As the recent article say you will own the other version if you own one of the versions. And I wanted to know if I will actually have ownership permanently because currently I have Xbox PC Gamepass with my account so I might be misunderstanding things.

    My account was charged for game pass for pc and it says i have it but i cant play Minecraft Java

    As previously noted. Microsoft owns Minecraft, however Minecraft Java is not a Microsoft or Xbox game. The PC equivalent is “Minecraft Windows 10 edition” the Java version is a separate game not part of Minecraft bedrock, their-for not cross play with other devices.

    Xbox owns W10 edition not Java edition
