    I didn't think people actually cared about rank in Halo besides MLG kids.

    Your rank was your placement. As a level 15 you wouldn't want to get put in a game with 50s. You would have cared about that. Ranking is like leveling. What gamer doesn't enjoy that?

    Halo 2 was one of the best ranking systems a multiplayer game has EVER implemented, in my opinion. Although cheating did occur a lot in the higher ranks, I don't remember a game being as competitive like Halo 2 was online.

    Halo 3 was a great system. Had your rank for ranked matches and rank for social matches. Halo 2 also featured a great ranking system.

    Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Reach, and Halo 4 all have a trueskill rank system. It was hidden in Reach and will be hidden in Halo 4. I just hope it works as well as Halo 2 and Halo 3. It didnt work well at all in Reach because they allowed you to rank up in
    the Campaign and in Firefight. So its going to be interresting to see how it works in Halo 4. As long as it works as well as Halo 2 and Halo 3 I will be happy.

    If Halo 4 don't have the same ranking system as Halo 3. It's MP will pretty much be a failure in my eyes... Halo 3's ranking system was beast.

    I would pay extra, or even monthly, to have a Rank system similar to Halo 2 or Halo 3. Just sayin... Makes the game that much more competitive.
