Will forza ever support logitech?

There are 3 supported wheels, both thrustmasters are unreliable and mad catz grinds.

The thrustmaster tx being probably the best choice but amazon uk and us are full of reliability complaints.

The Logitech G27 and DFGT are perfect for this game and offer much higher quality and reliability at a much cheaper price.

Wow at least there's a Microsoft support willing to look at our problem, unlike the ever so "helpful" Forza forum.

 

Worst support ever?

I have to defend M$ a little bit here, while it's frustrating at least they set aside a number of units to allocate for launch problems. My friend bought a PS4, got the blue ring of death and was told that due to the high demand and lack of stand by systems
their next shipment won't be until late December.

 

I've played on a Logitech G25 and G27 and, in my opinion, they both sucked. Now this was on Gran Turismo so it's a bit of an apples to oranges comparison because I can't compare them on the same game to the Xbox wheels.

The Logitech wheels are the least smooth of any wheel I've played with. The Thrustmaster TX, on the other hand, is the smoothest wheel I've played on. Full disclosure - I haven't played on a Fanatec Elite - only a Fanatec CSR). The Thrustmaster TX is a step
up from the Fanatec CSR.

I think you should take the Amazon reviews with a grain of salt. Most of the reviews I've read were from unreliable sources who were owning the TX as their first wheel. They can certainly comment on the wheel failing but be careful of relying on their inexperience
when it comes to quality and feel. Also, check the dates of reviews from people with failed wheels.

There were definitely some manufacturing problems with the TX at release. However, everything I've read (and experienced myself as my original TX wheel failed in February) shows that Thrustmaster support was really good about fixing the issues quickly for
people (much better than people will talk about Fanatec's customer support). Also, I believe they've come to fix these problems as I haven't heard much of new problems with recently purchased wheels.

 

Due to the technology differences you're never going to see support for old Logitech wheels. The best we can hope for is that Fanatec comes out with a great new wheel for the Xbox One.

 

@crunchy1X, sim racing world were raving about how good the TX is and they do really thorough reviews, also did you buy straight from the manufacturer?

On the forza forums a few people have said the TX was reliable, amazon have a tendency of sending stuff out that's been returned to them as faulty, that I do know.

Yeah a fanatec wheel would be great

 

I bought my wheel through Game Stop. I received it at the end of November (about a week after the Xbox One launched). It stopped working in mid-February. After a little back-and-forth with their technical support team Thrustmaster had a new wheel base out
to me just over a week later.

(Incidentally, the week my wheel broke was the week Turn10 released Road America in FM5. ...and I'm from Wisconsin. Just my luck I lose the wheel on the week I can finally race my "home" track - LOL)

...and my wheel has been working great since receiving the new base.

 

Crunch...I've been waiting. Finally took a chance, bought the wheel yesterday. I'm very pleased with the weight and quality. The Madcatz just appears to be repackaged junk. Gave you a hard time my friend...but so far wheel is of high quality. You may have
another evangelist on your hands.
