    There are many xbox 360 games I own that are not compatible on the xbox one. Will microsoft try to make every xbox 360 game compatible? I am afraid my xbox 360 will die and since microsoft no longer repairs xbox 360s the games that are not compatible on
    the xbox one would be lost. My original xbox still works like the first day I got it, it is such a reliable system, but the xbox 360 isnt. So these are real concerns for xbox 360 owners. I feel that the original xbox and the xbox 360 had the best game library,
    so it would be a shame if xbox 360s die out and a lot of games would be lost. Thanks.

    EA thinks next-gen consoles won't be backwards compatible

    Every old xbox game that can be played on 360's emulator required a team of individuals to test and make each game compatible, they used to release batches of games made compatible every few weeks, and they didn't do an awful lot of them... so even if they
    do try to make games backwards compatible only a handful would be on release and more over the following months. Everyone moved to 360 pretty quickly anyway, so if history is any guide they'll not bother.

    No. The Xbox One is not backwards compatible. Xbox 360 games can only be played on an Xbox 360.

    I'm sure Microsoft would love to have every game be compatible, but it's also up to the publishers so unfortunately not all games will be made compatible.

    Yes it is but if you want to play Xbox one with 360 games, you have to know that it's not compatible with every games.

    Leaving no payment option will affect the ability to download backward compatible Xbox 360 games unless you also have a 360 to do that from. Xbox 360 games require a payment method to be able to download the game directly to the Xbox One. The games for the
    360 every month aren't free they have a cost of $0.00.
