Will DLCs from Xbox 360 games be backwards compatible as well?

Now that Xbox One is backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games, will those games DLC - like GTA IV: Ballad of Gay Tony (supposing GTA IV itself gets compatible) - be compatible as well?

Mass Effect Backwards Compatibility

I know Mass Effect 1 is backwards compatible and recently there was an update for Xbox One to support multi-disc 360 games. Does anyone know if there are any plans for Mass Effect 2 and 3 to be backwards compatible, and also will the DLCs be supported as
well?

I don't think it's been announced whether dlc's will be backwards compatible or not. I'm sure they're working on it though. They're probably trying to figure out how to make it work, or maybe they've already figured it, and they're just trying to work out
the kinks.

That'd make sense, and I hope they've already figured out how, because some games' DLCs are actually way better than the game itself. Take Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 as an example. I don't like the reboot, but I'd love to play as Alucard in the Revelations
DLC.

Sometimes the Xbox 360 marketplace website doesn't always work very well when trying to purchase a game or DLC. It's best if you can to purchase from the Microsoft Store for backward compatible games or from an Xbox 360 console.

Game and DLC purchases are associated with your Microsoft account. If you purchase the DLC on the Xbox 360, they will work on the Xbox One as well since Black Ops 1 is backwards compatible.

Not all dlc are available for xbox 360 backward compatibility games for xbox one. The availability of such content depends from the game developer.

If the DLC is for the Xbox One version of the game, then no, you can't use that DLC on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

For example, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is a Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 game that works on the Xbox One. However, if you buy Xbox One DLC, then this will NOT work on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

But if you get the Xbox 360 DLC content for a Backwards Compatible game, the DLC will work on the emulated Xbox 360 on Xbox One.
