will directx12 give us 4k at least at 30fps?

The Xbox One already offers 4K support when it comes to apps. As for games, no. If you buy a $300 machine, expect it to run like a $300 machine. If you're looking for 4K gaming, you're going to have to spend a pretty penny on a nice PC.

most games on the x run at 30fps with checkerboard or dynamic 4k not true 4k, the odd game like forza can do checkerboard 4k and 60fps but thats it, some games give you the option to run at 60fps with reduced resolution. the x hardware is not that powerful.

This isn't sold as next gen 4k xbox two! Its still an upgrade from outdated xb-one with a little faster cpu but boosted gpu to render 4k graphics at max 30fps. to counter ps4pro "fake" 4k upscale.

Max out to 60fps/1080p or extra enhanced 1080p graphics or renderup to 4k/max 30fps is only possible with x enhanced patched games like: fortnite, rise of tomb raider.

cpu intensive games like pubg even have trouble to max out 30fps/1080p altough last patch was smoother stable 30fps.

UNless they program for the X only without old one compatibility the true X power can't never be shown.

So the next gen consoles will come standard with 1080p/60fps and 4k/30fps ready.

Depending on the game settings (if available) it will go in 4k.

The Witcher 3 and gears of War 4 both have settings (performance or graphics mode).

Performance will get you a 1080p / 60 FPS resolution whil graphics mode will give you 4k 30fps.

So long as it doesn't effect performance beyond 4K/30FPS, I'm game.
