Will an EU Xbox One work in the US if you plug a US power brick into it?

As long as you have the proper power brick you will have no problems, also you should have no problems with the TV Just remember your in the USA when setting it up, good luck.

I have the same problem, i got an Xbox One present from my brother, it's still on the way, but he ordered from Amazon US.

I spoke to an Xbox Live representative and i told him i was considering (like you guys) to either :

1) Use another plug to connect US connector and make it EU plug

2) Buy a seperate EU power brick

I believe in all fairness that option 2 is most recommended just to avoid certain problems (i don't know too much about convertors & stuff).

A solution for all you guys out there, i'm about to order a seperate power brick for Xbox One which is the EU version, found this on the following link :

Looks to me like that's the one i would need. I'll order it & when i get it (along with my Xbox from Amazon US), i'll let you guys now of this worked.

Yeah if you ended up using the power brick that came with the xbox when you bought it in the US and plugged it in while in india you would have fried your xbox one.

The voltage in india is 220v and the voltage the US power bricks use are only 110v.

If you used the US power brick in india this is would NOT be covered under warranty.

If you have access to one, you could try using another Power Brick.

What makes me think Power Brick is when you said. "The xbox was accidentally unplugged and when i plugged it back in it stopped working."

Power bricks can still light up Orange even when they are bad. So check the cord where it plugs into your console and make sure there are no bent, or broken pins.

Have you tried clearing console cache?

Follow these steps to clear cache on an Xbox One:

1. Turn off your Xbox One.
2. Once the indicator lights on the front of the Xbox One and the console's power brick are off, unplug the power brick from the back of your console.
3. Wait at least 30 seconds.
4. Plug the power brick back into your Xbox One and turn it on.

Try again, download game with gold game.
