Will Advanced Warfare be able to be digitally downloaded for Xbox 360 marketplace?

So Xbox One has been able to preload Advanced Warfare already, and I'm guessing will it be like Destiny digital downloads? Will current gen be able to pre load, and last gen will be able to digitally download on launch day?

I downloaded advanced warfare on the Xbox one. Can I download it on the 360 for free?

 

Xbox one digital download problem.

So I'm not sure if I'm the only one that's having a horrible time with these digital downloads, I have been downloading Advanced Warfare for over 10 hours and it's only at 20% (I have terrie Internet). My local redbox has Advanced Warfare and I was wondering if I could just rent the game, install it, and then once I return it I could be able to play?

 

You cant preload it on 360, doesnt look like you can preorder atm either

 

I'm probably guessing on November 4 (launch day), it will be able to be digitally download. It's just that last gen users won't be able to preload.

 

Should be allowed to download digitally on 3rd if they want people to go digital and they have an offer on, with no preloading for 360 :/

 

Was looking for information on this. I was going to go 360 and then have the One version as well. Going to be playing with my son. Figured I might as well pre-order and get the bonus. And on the off chance download the One version for the Day Zero as
well since you can upgrade for free and the Call of Duty site says that you retain both licenses and can use both. Would be nice to have the pre-order bonuses. Posted about this in the General One forums.

I had already noticed it was available for pre-order on the PS3 for the Day Zero digital so I was assuming I was just missing it. Then on the Call of Duty forums I read a post from someone stating that they had called Activision and was told it was up to
MS and then MS told them it would be available on the 4th. Seems like no Day Zero edition for the 360 since the 4th would be launch day. You would miss the 24 hour early access in that instance and possibly the pre-order bonuses.

 

Doesn't make sense for MS to not be sorting the best possible solution for this.

 

I am sure they are. Not really sure why they would need a solution though. If Activision is allowing these for digital pre-order then just put it on their. You buy the 360 version and you get the One version as well. Can pre-load on the One. And make
the 360 version unlock on the 3rd. Unless they are worried about the number of people loading on the 3rd between the 360 and One and overall stability. But getting people loaded early would be a big help. And Xbox One purchasers should be able to pre-load.

The only real issue I could see is that the 360 requires the game be available and then they have no way of stopping someone from playing. That would mean to allow pre-order they would need to put the full game up and then it would load and they need to
work around that. To bad they cannot do a license for the 360/One so that when you purchase you have the license for launch day.

It will probably be sorted out and on there. Not really a big deal for me really. Just thought I was overlooking it or something really.

 

imagine the amount of people downloading on the 4th and the strain on the servers, i can see it taking a good few hours to download

 

it says you can pre order the digital copy for the 360 at gamestop but what im wondering if you dont pre order it can you still download it on the 3rd for the day zero edition because thats what i was gonna do and another question if you buy the xbox one
version of the game digitaly do you get the 360 virsion or is that just buy the 360 get the xbox one for free thing

 

From everything I have read on the Call of Duty site it does not work to buy the One version and get the 360 version. Only the 360 to One. Would be nice if it was to work for the One --> 360 as well. I would just purchase for the One and then load it
up on 360 later.
