    Will a soft reset delete the account on the console


    I have a shared xbox between me and my stepmother, her account got signed out, the only account on the entire system, and we’ve still not figured out the password, so I can’t play the games I want because of this, I had an old Microsoft account so I figured I’d sign into it and put the account on the xbox as well, well every time I try to put a game in and start it up it’ll take me to the games loading screen, kick me back to the home page, and then ask if I own the game, googled how to deal with that and google said a soft reset would most likely fix it, so I went to the restart page and I have two options, delete everything on it, or reset and keep games, ofc I want to choose the latter but this isn’t my xbox, if I chose to keep games, will it save the games as well as the accounts? Or will we be signed out forever.

    I was experiencing issues similar to this a few weeks ago. After plenty of troubleshooting I was advised to do a soft reset on console (soft reset will not delete games or data) I recovered my account and everything has worked fine
    since!

    Clearing Mac Address

    Deleting account from xbox one console and reinstalling

    Rebooted internet and even disconnected console from internet and reset it.

    My XboxOne account is locked(I can unlock achievements on Xbox360/Pc). It's a Microsoft problem

    I had a similar issue and the only thing that worked was a soft reset of my console
    What did you mean with a soft Reset, deleting Cache? i did it a few times and a factory system reset.
