    Will a game on Xbox One be available on Windows 10?


    Rise of the Tomb Raider is currently available for Xbox One, and will be available to play on Windows 10 later this month.

    If I purchase a download code for Rise of the Tomb Raider for Xbox One, will I be able to play it on my computer when it comes out for Windows 10 or will I need to buy it again to play it on Windows 10? I don't want to do game streaming.

    I dont have a xbox one but just got a new windows laptop. Is game pass available on windows 10 PC's? Also, are all xbox one games playable on windows or just select games?

    So Windows 10

    Xbox One games run on the bespoke Xbox One OS not in Windows. You won't be able to buy a typical PC game and download it on your console. It won't work like that. However, we could get to see Windows 8/10 apps and games that are available via the Windows
    Store also running on the Xbox One platform.

    Cross compatibility between Xbox Games and Windows 10 PC

    A number of games are what is known as Xbox Play Anywhere. This allows them to be available to both Xbox One and Windows 10. Unfortunately, that only works in digital format. Disc-based games for Xbox One will only work on Xbox One, and are not compatible
    with Windows 10, even if the actual game is available as Xbox Play Anywhere (unfortunately, SW Battlefront is not Play Anywhere).

    Hey there,

    The windows 10 edition will only be available on a Windows 10 platform. If you do have the new update in which the game is now only called "Minecraft" then that one should be available to play on both the PC and on your Xbox One.

    Good day

    The promotion for the upgrade has expired. You will need to purchase the game on the Xbox one.

    The digital copy of the game is crossplay enabled with Windows 10, Xbox one, VR, mobile and Nintendo Switch.

    If you have Gamepass Minecraft will be available from the 4th of April in the Gamepass library.

    Gamepass is only available on Xbox one and have a select list of Windows 10 games.

    Thanks for the reply. If you are on Windows 10, the Xbox App will allow you to access games compatible. Take a look at the following article:

    FIFA is available for Xbox 360 and Xbox One only. Unfortunately, you will not be able to play FIFA on PC.

    Minecraft on Game Pass Ultimate

    There is 2 versions of the game available for PC. Bedrock edition that is called Windows 10 and Java edition.

    Windows 10 is crossplay enabled with Xbox One, mobile and Nintendo Switch.

    Java is PC only.

    Minecraft is available for Xbox One console from Gamepass, have not been added to the PC library yet hopefully it will be added in the future.
