    Will a fully fledged (PC) Joystick work with the XBox One?


    I was just wondering if a PC joystick such as the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick will work with the XBox one in the same way the Xbox One Controller will work with a PC? I can't seem to find an answer to this question anywhere. I was thinking of getting
    one for my PC but If they won't work on the XBox One as well I will probably go with a cheaper model.

    Is there still a PC section here?

    might as well post it here, by the time Microsoft has finished the Xbox will be a fully fledged entry pc as all the games will go there soon.

    Awesome! Now all the Xbox One needs is fully fledged DLNA streaming and I'll be sold on it!

    i dont believe that its compatible with xbox one but i really wish they made it compatible with warthunder or fs15/fs17 and othe games like that

    It has to be an official Xbox controller or accessory, or an approved third-party accessory.

    Approved third-party controllers and accessories have a logo on the packaging that says "For Xbox" or "Designed for Xbox" on it.

    If you only want to use the joystick, then no.

    Only officially licensed Xbox controllers will work on the console (with the exception of standard HID USB keyboards for text entry).

    However, the official Xbox Adaptive controller that is aimed at gamers with disabilities also has two USB ports, and supposedly some PC joysticks work on that.

    This is however a "your mileage may vary" thing, as the Joystick probably will only be able to use it's X and Y axis, and not much else.

    If you want a fully fledged Joystick that you can also use on the PC, you might want to look at the Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS One: T.Flight Hotas One - Joystick for Xbox One and PC | Thrustmaster
