Will a 12 month Xbox Live Gold code from Microsoft Rewards expire?

Hey there,

There are 2 ways to buy Xbox Live.

1. With 3months gold, 6 months gold and 12 months gold.

That contains, if you buy it one time and after the 3, 6 or 12 months gold period expire and you want a new one, you just can buy a new code.

2. Auto-renewal.

That contains, if your Gold period expire, they will get money from your bank account and you have new gold.

Wait until your GPU has expired...if you add Live Gold now, it will automatically convert that Live Gold to GPU so, instead of 12 months of Live Gold, you would get 4 months GPU.

Wait for your GPU to expire

Give it 24 hours to make sure

Purchase/apply the Live Gold to your account

Just for information: Microsoft no longer sell 12 month blocks of LG so you either need to pay monthly via Microsoft or buy a 12 month card from a 3rd party seller and then apply it to your account

They do not expire, I think.

I don't think they expire but just to be sure, contact support and speak to a consultant
