    Will 360 games now show up on Xbox one as part of Gold free games each month?


    Just curious if they will now be available to download immediately from the Xbox One console much like the current Xbox one free games are.

    Yes you will need to get an xbox live subscription to play online multiplayer games. One great thing is if you sign up with a new account you will also be able to get a one month free trial of the service. You also get games with gold every month which
    is like getting four free games to play monthly that you get to keep in your gaming library as long as your keep your subscription active. Each month there will be 2 Xbox one games added as well as 2 Xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible. It's a great

    I just got a Xbox one

    You could invest in a external hard drive, then sign in and download the FREE games w gold on any device each month... No matter if you ditch the 360, (GWG 360 games are yours now for free forever on X1 or 360, regaurdless of gold membership, plus two more
    X1 free games) their all still free on your Xbox One...

    I'm not sure if GwG Xbox 360 games will show on Xbox One or not, but we will definitely get more detail about Xbox One BC this holiday season!

    It worked for me for defence grid which wa aa games with gold game and the only one that was added to the list

    But you gotta remember not all games with gold is in the list get added and since it still neess the publishers permission to be added to backwards compatible

    You would queue it via the website anyhow

    The xbox 360 emulator wont have the marketplace on there as stated on the faq

    The only way to queue 360 games is the website and the 360 console

    ngocphi has it right ... if a given Games With Gold game makes it to the approved list, you'll be able to download it to Xbox One, but you will still need to claim the download either on a physical Xbox 360 or on the Xbox.com website's Marketplace.

    Remember that Major Nelson and others have been reminding Xbox 360 players that they can claim Xbox One GWG titles even without owning the console, thus giving them a large library of games when they do choose to upgrade.

    Also the Xbox Live Gold free games for the second part of the month only shows one title available. I'm only showing Lego Star Wars 2 the original trilogy for the Xbox 360 available. Shouldn't there be more?
