Will 360 Arcade Market games become backwards compatible for new consoles?

I had an Xbox 360 till I faced the ring of death. Now I own an Xbox 1 S. Now that games are becoming more readily backwards compatible. Will those Arcade games like the Dish Washer Vampire Smile or Shank become available to play on the newer console? Child
of light was Arcade in the store now available in a different version. Will 360 Arcade Market Place games become Backwards?

So what should i do? buy a xbox 360 used to just play this game because its still not backwards compatible?

There's really no way to know for sure until they become backwards compatible. There's always a chance, but it's also up to the developers.

 

Hopefully so. It would be a shame for past purchased content to suddenly become obsolete and removed from our Microsoft account libraries. That would never happen right?

 

I hope so. There were so many great games in that program.

 

Scary if only a decade of Arcade access becomes obsolete. What will todays games be in 5 yrs. with faster and more powerful systems?

 

I’ve never really got the desire to play older games again. I love the Witcher 3 but wouldn’t play it again. Once I’m done with a game, I’m done and especially with older arcade games on 360.
