Wildfire - upcoming co-op Kinect game

I guess I should clarify. I don't mind if a normal game features some voice commands. Like the Dead Rising "change clothes" feature was pretty useful. But gaming is what I do to relax. I'll never jump around and wave my arms and kick my feet like an idiot
while playing a game.

 

That's just it though, SS; most of the time you won't look like an idiot. Most of the time, it only requires small minute motions, such as "pushing your controller away from you" as in Dead Rising 3, or leaning a bit to the left or right to adjust your view
in Forza or Battlefield. There's no flailing about needed. The only flailing that happens are from people who don't know better or who are little kids.

 

It seems you completely failed to grasp the entirety of my post. I don't mind normal games that utilize small gestures for kinect. I will never play a game that is developed entirely for kinect

 

Ah, I see, SS. Regarding Kinect only games, I think some of them have the potential to be good (e.g., Fruit Ninja Kinect, The Gunstringer, etc.), but due to their limitation of requiring the Kinect, I don't think they can ever truly be great.

 

I just had an errant thought - imagine if they released a Kinect-only Flappy Bird game on the Xbox One. You'd literally have to flap your arms over and over again at appropriate intervals to keep yourself from crashing and burning. I can imagine how quickly
someone would tire out from doing this, not to mention the exercise they could get from it.
