    You can already do what your talking about.

    It requires you to rent an entire cinema screen for a couple of hours, you then go along to your cinema and basically plug in your computer/console into the digital projector and away you go.

    The major problem is that its reaaaaaaally expensive and any video game that is shown on a screen the size of a cinema shows all of the imperfections like low resolution textures etc.
