Wifi Troubles

Ok every one how is it going, myself well im having a bit of a issue tonight and its been occuring more frequently than i would prefer it to.

My Xbox 360 has been getting knocked offline from xbox live more and more as time progresses and it really is becoming a burden to have to reset my router every time i want to watch a movie with the family or just sit back and play the occasional COD or
Destiny tittles and i have absolutely no clue if my wifi sensor is out on my xbox or if it is just the settings of the xbox or router themselves please help if at all possible all feedback is much apperciated.

Wifi troubles!!!!!

I just got my xbox one two days ago and was exited to use it but it is taking a really long time to download anything and i checked my wifi and i am getting really slow internet speeds and so i go on my ps4 and i have my normal speeds 11 mbps down and 5
mbps up so i asked my friends who else have xboxs and they say it could be the receiver in the console which may be bad in it and i want to see if you could help me fix this i have tried some of the steps

hello, I once had this problem of disconnecting from wi fi every like 15 minutes, then I changed my modem and everything was ok, changing the modem changed my nat type from closed to open and I think that was what solved my issue, hope this info will help

Is there anyway that you can use a ethernet cable to connect your Xbox Console to your Wireless Router?

As Upstream Sea already suggested, try to use a wired ethernet connection for a test. If that works, but having an ethernet cord strapped through your home is not an option, you should check why your WiFi gets in trouble.

Usually, WiFi issues can't be resolved by simply setting something yourself. A lot of outside factors can impair your WiFi signal. Your neighbor maybe got a new router that now broadcasts on the same channel as yours (you can fix that by changing to a different
WiFi channel. Try 1, 6 or 11). Or your neighbor got a baby and now they have a wireless baby monitor that also broadcasts in the WiFi frequency spectrum.

If the issue can't be resolved by changing channels, you might want to look into so called
homeplug adapters. That way you can use your homes power cables as a network without having to run network cables through your home.

Another thing to check: Repeated sign outs often happen due to a corrupt profile or corrupt system cache. Please go to the consoles setting hub on the far right, then to the system tile in the upper left. There go to the storage options, highlight any storage
device and press Y. Choose the "Clear System Cache" option from the menu.

Then press the Guide button, then X to sign out. Choose to "Download Profile" and enter your Gamertags email and Password to download it. Keep in mind, should your account be protected by Two Step Verification (you can check for that setting
here), you need to use an App Password instead of your "normal" password. You can create an app password on
that link as well.
