Wifi Problems

Hi there

I recently moved into a new Apartment and got internet in my own name that is actually faster package from the same provider I had at my old place( Bell Canada). Now my xbox alway worked fine at the old place. But here with way better internet my Xbox one
can connect to the modem no problem but when I run a detailed network test it tell me my download speed is 0 Mbps and under 3 mbps upload. All my other devices in the house are around 45 mbps download and 10 mbps upload. Even if I try disconnecting everything
from my modem and just connect the xbox I get the same results. Does anyone have suggestions for me? I have tried everything on the support page and X box support were baffled by the results when I called them.

wifi problems

Since the beginning of 2012 i have problems with my wifi networks. I can't connect with any network i asked the support for help. i did everything they said and in the end the only thing the support told me is that i should buy a externel wireless netword
adaptor. And those thing ain't cheap, 70 euro. I get the fealing that xbox is trying rip money by *** up networks. I beginning to regret that i have bought an xbox. I had lots of trouble with that thing like i had to delete my memory twice because my xbox
was *** up for no reason. I'm dissapointed and i am beginning to wish i had bought a ps3. I hope other xbox members could help me out with the wifi problem by giving me other methods.

 

Xbox One WiFi problem

If you have a router, give the xbox one a static IP address, make sure it's 'doled' out by it's MAC address.

Do that and if it's still giving you problems like that, toss that static IP on a DMZ.

 

What do you get for packet loss, MTU, and latency?

What is currently your NAT type, as well?

 

packet loss is 0%, Nat type is open, MTU is 1480 and my latency jumps between 70 and 1000 yet my modem is just in the next room since its an apartment.

 

Have you gotten anywhere with this? I am having a similar thing happen to me. I have 100 mbps down and 50 up on my PC but my xbox is 0.00 mbps down and 40 up. I have no idea what to do and have tried many things based on supports suggestions but no luck.
