Wifi not being recognised?????

are you able to plug an Ethernet cable into the Xbox? to see if it will pick it up then.

Also have you tried simply turning your wifi off, and on again?

I had a similar issue with my Xbox One S, it would see my WiFi, but wouldn't be able to connect to it at all. I tried to power cycle the console, still no change. Even did a factory restore, still no change. In the end I used an airduster to clean out the
Xbox One S, a sizeable amount of dust was cleared out, I plugged it all back in, turned it on, and suddenly it all worked fine.

Don't know how or why dust would affect it, but that seemed to fix whatever issue was there for me.

Hi, one of the biggest things that can affect your WiFi signal, is passive interference. This is caused by objects, walls, pipes and electric cables. The further your Xbox is from the router/gateway hub, the greater the issue becomes. You can help get
round this by getting WiFi signal boosters (relatively cheap) to improve your signal power and range. Or if possible connect via a patch cable, this will give the best network performance with few issue.

Otherwise, if you have used this Xbox before with your WiFi and you recently came across this issue, I would recommend completely disconnecting network via Xbox Settings, and shutting off & turning on your device. Additionally, I would check your router
/ network strength to see whether it has something to do with the WiFi network you are trying to connect to. Also, make sure you are entering the correct password (if network is password protected).
