wifi network

So I’ve tried resetting it multiple times and now i’m pretty much stuck at the original startup screen, which is impassable without connecting to wifi, which still doesn’t show up lol. I have a Xbox Series S and no i’m not in the insider program.

Besides a wired connection, I'm afraid the only other option would be to select "Add wireless network" from the network setup menu and manually input your network details like SSID, security type, and password. This should allow you to get past the initial setup process.

As for permanently fixing this problem, may I ask exactly what you've tried so far apart from the factory reset?

• By original startup screen, are you referring to the setup process that comes after a factory reset? If so, is there any way you could try a wired connection with your console? Just so you can get past the initial setup process.

• In addition to the WiFi problem, are you, by any chance, experiencing issues with wireless controllers?

• Would you mind giving this a try?

- Go to Settings > General > Power options, and select "Shutdown (Energy saving)"
- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug the console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox One, you'll have to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the outlet.
- Plug everything back together, turn your console on, and check if the issues persist.

• If that doesn't work, I'd appreciate your answering the following questions:

- May I ask which Xbox model you are using?

- Is your console enrolled in the Xbox Insider program?

- Besides the TV, do you have any external devices plugged into your console's ports?

- Have you already tried manually entering your network's SSID?

Yes, the setup process. No issues with controllers or anything but I can try wired if I really have to . my router is downstairs and it’s just inconvenient.
