wifi is reporting "No internet, secured" but any apps using xbox live are inoperable

If your WiFi is actually turning off when your Xbox connects, it sounds like an issue with your WiFi. Are there any settings through your WiFi/Internet provider (such as security settings for when a new device connects) that you could check?

Is your xbox connected through and ethernet cable or is it connected through wifi because if its wifi then you might need to check the security settings to of your wifi router and that is what might not be allowing it to connect to the internet and if so
try using an ethernet cable for a more stable and sure connection.

When I test Xbox Live Connection I get an error saying that I have an Internet Error and my wifi can't connect to the internet but my wifi is connecting to my pc internet, but when I just sign back in I automatically connect to Xbox Live. When I play games
that do not require Xbox Live my Xbox Live never disconnects, this only happens when I play online games that require Xbox Live. I had one corrupt file but it was in games and apps, it was an incomplete download.

WiFi Direct and standard WiFi are two different things. Hooking up other devices to your Xbox One using WiFI Direct shouldn't have any impact on your WiFi Internet connection.

Yes it is still slow when running on its own. I've been running it on its own while I expt with the network. The system update that popped up unexpectedly since I'd rebooted it a dozen times took over 5 hours. I'm downloading a gears 3 video to get a better
idea of how slow it is. the 50mb on my other xbox takes a little over 1 min. Same on my PC.

The light on the adapter is green. The xbox reports full signal to the wifi. Also my wifi analyser reports no interfearance (although it only reports competition with other wifi, not random interfearance.) The other xbox connects fine at the same location.

I'm in UK midlands, Derbyshire. Internet is with BEunlimited.

Although I dont think thats relevant as the problem is with the LAN as well.

My Router is a DGN2000

Wireless using WPA2-PSK

I'm using the white adaptor,

I have limited the router to b & g while testing with no improvement.

upnp is enabled

Bot getting any NAT errors when doing the xbox live test.

Not getting any error codes

Internet is ADSL - Again irrelevant as this problem affects the LAN

After doing the xbox live test I dont get a "more info" option.
