    Wifi hardware problems!!!!!!!!


    Has any body else been dealing with wifi hardware crash? And if so how did you fix the problem?

    My hardware failed after ten minutes of use. I do hav a day one edition and I first used the wifi connection on feb. 10 . Microsoft is trying to help but some a hole has used my serial number for a advanced exchange and now I am stuck with the problem
    . PLEASE HELP

    Problems with WiFi hardware in Xbox OneS

    Are there any known hardware problems with the WiFi connection on Xbox One S?

    We got my son a Xbox One S for Christmas and for the first 2 months or so everything worked fine. Within the last few weeks it randomly drops internet connection. It took me awhile to believe him but I’ve now been looking into the issue. I’ve followed the
    troubleshooting steps online and nothing seems to fix the issue. I have multiple other devices (computer, iPads, iPhones); that stay connected when the Xbox drops. Ive modified settings in the router. I’ve turned off devices that could cause interference.
    I’ve put other devices in the same physical location as the Xbox to see if that location is somehow not getting a good signal strength. Every other device continues to work as expected, it is only the Xbox having the issue.

    The fact that all my troubleshooting shows that all other devices remain connected and only the Xbox has this issue make me think this is something wrong with the actual Xbox. Anyone else experiencing similar issues or have suggestions for resolving the
    issue?

    That appears to be a hardware issue and the console will need to be repaired. Since it isn't under warranty anymore I'll suggest you take it to a local departmental store so their repair department can fix it for you and you can take it home the same day.

    Hello Spike,

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We are sorry for the issue with the error. When this error occurs, it most likely means there is faulty hardware in the console. In this case could be the WIFI in the console. Have you tried connecting with a ethernet
    cable? If unable to, you will most likely need a repair which you can set up on
    device support.
