    WiFi constantly disconnects when PC is on


    So I am having a really weird issue where my 360 disconnects from my WiFi constantly, but only if my Windows 10 PC is on the network. The desktop PC is connected using an Ethernet cable, I've removed as many unnecessary apps and services as I can, I've
    Wireshark traced it, and still I can't narrow it down.

    Are there any known apps/services that might cause this?

    My 360 is the one that came after the slims, like kinda has the Xbox One aesthetic. It's connected via a wifi router using wireless N network, on the least populated wireless channel in my apartment building.

    My PC runs Windows 10 and is patched up to Creators Edition, and connects using gigabit ethernet...umm not sure what else to say.

    X1 Desperate Help !!

    I've tried both without success. Something interesting to note would be that I've just been watching twitch using smart glass to control my Xbox. When I was watching using my controller, it would disconnect from live constantly.

    Oh I should mention I've tried redownloading my profile, clearing caches, resetting router waiting five then restarting Xbox. Like every thing from all the other threads about this.

    It's hard to say, does the console randomly disconnect when it's connected using an Ethernet cable as well? What are you trying to do exactly when it disconnects?

    Have you tried connecting the console to a different frequency or changing the wireless channel?

    Try changing the frequency from the 2.4GHz to the 5GHz and vice versa.

    I have watched many YouTube videos and read on many forums and support pages that it
    might be caused by interference. With so many wirless devices around us, this can become a problem.

    I've also solved this on a friends console by changing the wireless channel on the router. If you know how to do this, give it a go and consult your router manual. If you don't know how to do it, consult an IT specialist.

    So yeah, give it a try (If you have a dual band router - 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz)
