Wifi Connection on Xbox One is unpredictable!!!!! Please Help!!

Just got an xbox one few days ago, and am connected over Wifi, (no I CANT connect directly to the router that is just not an option for me) so hear me out:

Sometimes I get a IP ADRESSS not found when first turning on my xbox one and trying to connect. then when i keep trying it will finally connect. ALSO:::

While playing Black ops 3, and during the Xbox One "multiplayer connection test" my connection is unpredictable and NAT type! Some times its good sometimes its bad. The ping goes up and down and so does the latency etc.

While playing black ops 3 multiplayer I will lag every 3-10 seconds I'd say roughly. ITS UNPLAYABLE pretty much.

my only option that i found that works much better is Bridging the connection from my MacBook but thats getting too inconvenient for to me to do Everytime I want to play xbox one and black ops 3.

What can I DO TO FIX MY WIFI connection!?!?!? its perfectly fine on my laptop and phone and it shows 4 BARS on my laptop but ONLY 3 Max on Xbox One? is there something defected with my console?

wifi issues

So recently my xbox one has not been able to connect to my wifi network. It has before in the past and one day up and stopped working. I've called xbox customer support and went through troubleshoot steps with them but so far they have not helped. The wifi network shows up but whenever i try to test the network connection i get an error message that says 'cannot get an IP address'. I tried a wired connection and that works but i am not able to keep it wired all the time. If anyone might have a solution please help!

Just one Xbox One is connected to internet. The xbox 360 is downstairs but I DONT USE it anymore so its turned completely off.

Wireless

UPNP is Enabled / On.

No i don't have a NAT Error and my NAT goes from Moderate to Open and to sometimes strict.

Xfinity/ Comcast.

......

 

Please keep in mind that there has been, and still is, an ongoing issue with the Technicolor TG862G (Xfinity) and Xbox One over wireless connectivity.

With this in mind, can you post up the current firmware version of your TG862G and also make sure its firewall settings are set to 'Minimum Security' (Low).
