Xbox 360 backwards compatibility

Hello,I own an old xbox 360 arcade without a hard drive which goes on top.My question is,if I buy a hard drive for the old white xbox 360 arcade which has NO internet at all because there's no wifi,will I be able to play jet set radio future from an original
disc?

I don't know the difference between Xbox 4GB and Xbox Slim

Not sure there is a white version of the 360 slim,sounds like it's one of the old style consoles without a hard drive,if that's the case you need one of the old stle hard drives that clip on the top of the console.

I could be wrong,just not heard of a white 360 slim,only black.

No. Your Xbox 360 only recognizes Microsoft Wi-Fi cards. I should warn you that the original phat WiFi adapters are generally finicky. Wired connection is always recommended for great latency and stability..

it did it back on the older 360 systems if you had a hard drive plugged in the side/top and a memory card at the same time.

It's an Xbox 360 console and it's the older model (the white one), hard drive is 50GB and I connect via wireless.

Hi there,

The older white 360 consoles, and the black Elite consoles that came out shortly after can use the same drive. The newer, slimmer console versions cannot use the same drives as the older consoles.
