wifi and internet crashes when use xbox one

HI,

Why is it that when my son plays fortnite or roblox my wifi crashes and I loss wifi on all my devices. I was using a netgear D7000 router which crashed. I then started using my plusnet router but that crashed. I have fibre internet. Plusnet say I still have
internet connection. I have rebooted my router on numerous occasions even changing my channels. Sometimes it goes down 1 hour after playing yet other times it will go down as soon as I start up the xbox.

Help. I am on the verge of getting rid of the xbox

Xbox one live

I’ll be playing overwatch and my game crashes along with my party chat then the Xbox won’t reconnect to the internet even though it has WiFi connection

New Xbox One still having problems with wifi?

I use wired internet so don't know about wifi problems but I have a day one Xbox one and it still works perfectly

WiFi Direct and standard WiFi are two different things. Hooking up other devices to your Xbox One using WiFI Direct shouldn't have any impact on your WiFi Internet connection.

Well, the xbox one uses WiFi direct to connect while the Xbox 360 uses other technology.

In short, the design of the Xbox One and the WiFi hardware card on the console has been problematic for many as far as controller connection. My response is, do what works best and maybe consider re-arranging the room and rooms adjacent so that any WiFi
interference is eliminated entirely. Also consider plugging in the xbox one vs. using a WiFi internet connection.
