  1. wifi and 1440p resolution

Lately I've been having problems with my xbox connecting to the wifi. Eventually I solved them by setting the router to which I was trying to connect in bridge mode (since the actual modem that was installed and attached to the cable is elsewhere and I
need the second router to have wifi available). While I was trying to solve the problem I did a factory reset to the console a couple times, so my resolution was set to 1080p (standard), but I have a 1440p monitor, my
xbox one s supports this resolution and also, before I started having all this problems, I could play in 1440p on the same wifi I have now with no issue, but now as soon as I set the resolution to 1440p on my xbox, the internet starts going
really slow and eventually disconnects, then as I set the resolution back to 1080p it starts working normally. I don't know how the 2 things are linked and why it happens, I need help.

    :)

    2k display xbox series X

So what options do I have? Only 1080p
    Hi,

A resolution of 1080P is 1920x1080, while 1440P is 2560x1440. Since your display doesn't support 1440P, the highest resolution would be 1080P.

To get 1440P would require a PC gaming monitor that supports that resolution.

Xbox Series X - No 120HZ option on any resolution.

Are you able to set the Xbox resolution to 1440p?
    Hi,

Yes, I am able to set the resolution to 1440p, but doing so reduces the refresh rate to 60hz.

My Xbox game clips are lagging

Setting my screen resolution to 1080p worked, not the capture resolution.

The issue seems to lie specifically with 1440p output resolution.

Are you able to set the Xbox resolution to 1440p?

    Error on xb1x selecting 4k

The Xbox One X supports 120hz only at 1440p and 1080p resolutions. It does not support 120hz at 4k. So unless your TV or monitor supports 1440p resolution (many don't), you will only get 1080p when selecting 120hz.
