  1. Wifi Adapter support?

My home network has a 5GHz 802.11AC wireless network that only my mac can connect to and its faster than my category 5e ethernet cable by far i get 7Mbps on this network compared to the 4-5Mbps with the cable. the question i have is how hard would it be
to incorporate, into the xbox one, a universal driver that i can use my WiFi dongle from asus to access this network?

    :)

  2. wifi adapter

my Xbox 360s with built in wifi adapter won't connect to WiFi unless I buy the wifi adapter. What gives with this thing? The reason I got this one was so I didn't have to buy a damn WiFi adapter. I can't configure network settings either so that option is
    out. Any ideas please help.

    Hey there,

What's the specific error message and error code you received when you tried to connect to wifi with your Xbox 360 S? Did you recently purchase this second hand or new? Keep us posted!

    Wifi Adapter support?

that network is slow, my wired network i get a connection of 100mbps until i go gigabit later this year, with all overheads i get a transfer rate of 7.3 MegaBytes per second, 5Ghz wifi could go faster than that but with all the interference in my area that
    aint happening.

your network is broken if you're getting faster speeds over wireless, your CAT5e cable maybe damaged, or too long.

your X1 shouldn't have an issue connecting to the router, it does support 5Ghz, just not 802.11ac, and it if that is the only reason you want to use a dongle for its ac support, then really it is a wasted effort since there are some big differences between
802.11n and ac, but the end user is not going to notice that much of a difference.

also, if you're running a speed test from your X1, and then run a speed test from your computer, it is likely that your computer will have better speeds since most speed tests will connect to the closest server, while the X1 will connect to a MS server,
and for me that server was 5 states away.

    Wifi Adapter support?

I'm a bit confused by your request.

Are you having trouble connecting your Xbox One with wireless? Or is it that you request support for the use with an external Wi-Fi adapter?

The Xbox One's internal wireless network card (Marvell Avastar 88W8897) support 802.11ac, along with its predecessors, a/b/g/n.
