Wife wants to game! But what...

So, this is probably a topic which has either been covered to death and or has loads of view points. Apologies if this is in the wrong place etc etc.

Basically my wife has said that she would like to learn to use our 360 and play some games. The question is obviously what?! She's self admittedly, not great at fast passed shooting or racing games, and there's no fun in playing something that isn't rewarding
from the outset.

She loves mind puzzles and anything with a story line you have to follow and can get immersed in. She loves watching Assassin's creed for example for the pot, but couldn't handle the fight gameplay yet. Mystery is good and crime solving, clue finding etc
are a good start. She'd also like to play with me, or be able to join in together.

So, simple to grasp games on the control side of things, that lean towards using your brain with some plot. Multiplayer options a bonus. I'm envisioning a resident evil/mystery adventure series type co-op where I cover and help on the shooty bits and she
works stuff out. Simple games that are just fun puzzlers are also good. She's also ridiculously competitive!!

All suggestions welcome. Remember she's a noob. But a noob with a brain...

Need walk thru on how to do co op

I just want to co op a game with my wife. Both of our profiles have made it to Rhonda's garage. Please tell me exactly what I need to do from here to start a game with just my wife and I. Thanks!

 

I would suggest Limbo for her to play on her own or for both of you to play together I would opt for Splosion Man

 

Honestly I would buy monopoly you both can play it and also can play online its on both xbox 360 and xbox one me and my wife have played hours on it , hope this helps

 

Get her 'Life is Strange' it's incredible, I expect she'll like the mystery involved. It's a take it at your own pace game and you make decisions based on what you think is right to do in that situation. I've played though the first episode and it's unbelievable
(Problem is, I don't know wether or not it's for the 360, I bought it on Xbox one )

Interesting thread as I have just got my wife her own 360 and XBL Gold.

For an excellent (and some would say one of the best ever) storyline you can`t go wrong with Red Dead Redemption and it`s not all shooting. Everything from rounding up cattle to hunting wild animals to collecting herbs.

Also have a go with the Mass Effect trilogy, very, very absorbing.

My wife has actually started with CoD4. And I just set her up in a private match on her own so she could get used to the controls properly.
