    Wierd Xbox Compatibly Issue


    I am currently experiencing a issue with my original xbox games on my xbox one. Every time I put in either Star Wars KOTOR or the original battlefront 2, it sends me to the Blu ray player and says that I should put the disc in a xbox console because it is
    a xbox disc. Both discs don't have any scratches. Anyones help would be amazing.

    I would have to agree with FoomBerry it is either a wrong format or backwards compatibly issue. His link is a good guide to already solved issue games that can play on the 360.

    Hi there Way Too Early!

    Sorry to hear about the issues you're having. Could you try
    clearing your cache     three times in succession, then turning your console off and back on? Additionally, can you unplug the power cable to your modem, waiting 15-20 seconds, then plugging it back in? Resetting your modem can usually help.

    You should not purchase any peripherals that don’t say Xbox on the box, as none of them will work. Xbox compatible peripherals will undoubtedly be detailed along with the console release
    Its wierd using the word "compatible" because technically it is hardware compatible but software locked.
    I checked there arent any Joystick dedicated for xbox to buy, why would be?
    No nobody will make dedicated Joystick just for xbox unless if microsoft make them.

    This seemed to be a common issue with the 360 but only ever affected people who had the console stood vertically.

    The advice was to always use the console in a horizontal position as that prevented it from happening.
