    Wierd noise in the fan of the console


    Hi everyone, I have this estrange noise in my console, is like a bip-bip, I don´t how to describe it in a better way. I supposed it may be something wrong with the fan, but I´m not really sure. Can you help me, what shouId I do?

    Sounds like an old printer

    Sorry for slow reply, yes the console works fine when I am playing a game, but when I want to watch tv on an app our it is just on the dashboard, also when it is being switched on and off it makes the wierd noises, which is a sort of like a clicking noise
    like as if something is being hit as the fan is hitting something but not sure what it is, kind of hard to describe.

    Do you have any ornaments or something else on the shelf that might be vibrating when the consoles fans kick in maybe? Or the shelf may be loose? It's also worth checking the hard drive bay cover isn't loose ( you will find that near to the rear of the right
    hand side of the console )

    Hi, it depends how you lean the disc in the slot. I would advise you not to hack the disc slot.

    Sometimes the disc may be a little out of balance and it will cause that sound. You could try taking the disc out and putting it back it to see if that will help.

    ^^Like he said, check for things nearby. Otherwise, open it up and make sure nothing is loose, the give it a vacuum to clean up any muck and dirt.

    When you install a game from a disc, it will make a noise, due to the speed the disc is spinning to install the game.
