Wierd Lag Problems All of a Sudden

Right so I only really only play Overwatch and at the ending week of March I have just started lagging. It doesn't happen at different times of the day its constant and its really odd as its never happened before. I have resetted my router, cleared my MAC
address and done loads of other things. So I have had this problem for three weeks and the lag is still happening. This also happens on other games as well but theres less lag on different games. This problem may be because of my ISP, which is BT by the way.
is anyone else here having the same issue and if anyone knows how I could fix my problem, please could you reply tot his forum as it would be very helpful for me. Thank you.

Does this lag always occur when your Dad is working?

Can you also try wired as a test?

Ok so i have a wireless dual band n adapter and i dont know what the problem is with lagging all of a sudden. I use to not lag at all it would be full green bar all the time but now it goes full green bar than straight to red just after like 2 min. When
it goes straight to red i check every body elses connection and their still full green but me. And after the two minutes or so it will go back to full green. What i dont understand is that my dad works for hp and hes aloud to work from home so he takes some
of the internet and when i lag i go and ask him if the internet just dropped on him too and he says that he has perfect connection, see i dont understand that. My internet used to be just fine even when there were like 4 people on it now it just droppes from
full green to red. So i want to know whats wrong and how to fix that problem?

Sorry to hear about the slow network performance. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

• Download Speed
• Upload Speed
• Latency
• Packet Loss %
• Wireless Strength (if applicable)
• Modem Manufacturer
• Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number

That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!
