    Wierd audio error and connection problems..


    Hi there,

    I don't know if the issue is during the internet connection problem I have (when I insert the internet cable instead of connecting with wifi I get a 'can't find DHPC-server' error).

    But my new Xbox One X is also showing problems in the audio, first off all it doesn't play music in certain games/apps. Sometimes the FX sounds are playing only, sometimes nothing and sometimes I don't have any issues. Most of all is that when I go into
    a party, my voice and the ones in the party start to stutter. I never had these issues before except the internet one.

    I tried another headset and I tried another controller, also restarting or resseting or anything else seems to help, Please I hope you can help me out here.

    can't select 5.1 uncompressed?

    have my x1 connected via HDMI to a sony DG 890 amp and when i tried to select 5.1 uncompressed under digital audio, the following error comes up

    "there was a problem using this setting. make sure audio receiver supports it. also make sure to choose at least one audio setting. both cannot be off"

    any ideas to help a noobie to sound settings? have set optical audio to off given have no optical connection and tv connection to HDMI (HDMI auto detect doesn't help either)

    Problems with internet through xbox one

    Just rerun the test for network connection on your console so that error message is verified. If it does not connect again, the network connection troubleshooter will fix the problem for you.

    Getting Disconnected every 10 minutes.

    Well now I have a new problem. Ive been getting this problem as well. I just straight out cannot connect to XBOX live at all. I get IP Address Error. The wierd thing is that somedays ill get this and the next day i can connect fine. Ive tried everything
    and it still wont work.

    Audio not working

    I honestly don't know that much about what's going on. The TV isn't on mute, and even when I have the volume up to the max, I still can't hear the audio from anything going on with the xbox. The picture works just fine, and it isn't a problem with the

    Hello MasonRogers2, do not know what equipment uses to hear the sound, whether a normal stereo box, tv sound or headsets, but have you tried to check if in the sound settings it they are for Stereo or Windows Sonic standard?

    In some cases it may be configured as DTS or Dolby, 7.7 etc and sounds on normal equipment will have difference in voices, backgrounds etc.

    Resetting Keeping Games:

    Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

    Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

    Select Reset console.

    Restore and maintain my games and apps.
