Wi-Fi Speed

Is it over Wi-fi or is it a LAN connection? If it's over wi-fi speeds will definitely vary.

Don't know is it WI-FI hardware isue or. I use RJ45 cable on my Xbox, don't use WI-FI on it. Better connection and speed.

My Wi-Fi speed is 58 Mbps.

Mine is 1Gbs, which is up there and overkill

You may want to assess your usage needs, look more at how much traffic you will be sending or receiving from the internet. If I lived alone, I could likely make do with 10 or 15 Mbps, but I don't do online game streaming. That needs a fair bit of bandwidth
and is sensitive to lost packets. Nor do I do 4K.

I would work out how much data you expect to use at one time like **** streams at a time at what quality, if you do game Streaming, how many at once.

My personal opinion is most homes only need 20-30 Mbps unless there are a lot of people in your home or you expect 4k video steams. Do your assessment of number of parallel streams at what quality and how many gaming streams at what quality and add 10 to
15 percent for web browsers and iot etc. Oh and music, but that is pretty minor



Now that is minimum. You may want a bit more for simple download performance and convince.

I see, if it works on hotspot but not your Wi-Fi then it is network related.

Please try to check the network speed when connected to Wi-Fi and compare it to hotspot.
