Wi-fi password

This wasn't happening before, but now every time I turn on my xbox, I have to re-enter my wi-fi password. Help?

If you are attempting to connect to wi-fi, you need the password for that wi-fi. If you are trying to connect to wi-fi that is not password protected, you need to have access to the modem itself, as you need to reset the modem or the xbox will not recognize
it.

Had the same issue with the same error code. Just disconnected from my Wi-Fi, typed in my Wi-Fi password and connected again. Working fine now.

 

There should be an option in the network setting to automatically connect to the network.

 

I looked, but I can't seem to find it. Do you know where it is?

Enter your wi-fi password again correctly. If you enter it wrong it might connect you to a network that has poor strength. Once you've entered it correctly do a network test to see if your signal is good. I thought there was an option for saved passwords
but I guess not. After you connect though you shouldn't have to type in the password anymore.

 

I entered the correct password, then tested the connection. It said something like, "you can still connect to xbox live, but your current network connection may cause issues for multiplayer gameplay". I still was able to connect to Live, though. Still,
every time I get on it says "you cannot sign in to xbox live. Check your network connection". Then I just go in and enter the password, and it lets me sign in.

 

Try holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 sec then plug it back in and power back on and see if it works.

 

Didn't work. Still had to enter my password to connect and got the same message. Nothing seems to work. Thanks for the help anyway. It was fine until the last update, and everything went screwy, including that my memory unit unformatted itself and I lost
4 GB of data.

 

try clearing your console's cache by going to settings, system, storage, highlight hdd, press y button, select clear cache then restart the console.

 

Goto network settings and advance settings then restore to factory default

Then reenter the password
