Wi-FI Connectivity issues on Xbox One

Hi there,

I started having issues with my Xbox One a couple months ago. At first I thought it was my internet, but I've called the internet company repeatedly, they've come out and replaced equipment and everything with no success. I started using my other devices
more and have found that it is only my Xbox having the issue. I took it over to my girlfriend's house, and have the same issues there. It repeatedly disconnects from xbox live, and usually will either reconnect right away or tell me that it can't get an IP
address.

I've gone through the troubleshooting steps and have had no success (I'm limited at the gf's place, though, because her landlord has the router). I've gone so far as to run the connection through my computer and create a hotspot with that. I've tried both
the 5ghz and 2.5ghz bands to try to see if that would help and it did not. I'm about at the end of my rope with this, and running a hard-line connection is not an option for me. Please help!

Xbox Live and hotel Wi-Fi via Ethernet?

I need to find a way to connect my Xbox 360 to the Wi-Fi at hotels, considering I go to one almost every month. I have a game review due by thursday and I need to get this internet working. The issue is, hotels usually take you to a website where you have to log in on a website to connect to the Wi-Fi. This makes the Xbox Live connection impossible if you're doing it through Wi-Fi....

But what if I logged into the Wi-Fi on my laptop and connected my Xbox 360 to the laptop via Ethernet Cable. I have Windows 7 so I'm guessing there's some Microsoft internet sharing option that's compatible with other Microsoft products.... right?

 

Will Xbox One have Wi-Fi N?

Will Xbox One have Wi-Fi N built into it? Or will an ethernet connection be required for internet connectivity?

 

I have the same issue. Recently we upgraded our router and our mbps and i still keep getting disconnected and i dont know what to do as i cant go wired and it has become annoying as i disconnect every five to ten minutes. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

 

I understand that running it hardwired is not a permanent option for you, however, would it be possible to at least test it that way? That would help to narrow down the issue. If that is a possibility please test it and let us know if you still have the
problem with disconnects. Good Luck!

Usually whilst watching tv with plex app but the radio app does this to

I thought it was my old Linksys e4200 router soi wasted 400£ on a new asus ac5300 spider :¬)

But same thing happens - 2.5 low 5.0 or high 5.0 channels

im using a virgin superhub 2 we phoned them and they opened ports and so did microsoft. also we changed the things like gateway dns etc. also power reset restored to factory setting removed the account and it still hasn't worked it would be impossible for
me to go wired and im at the end of my tether with this could it possibly be the xbox
