Why won’t the xbox store and cloud gaming work

Hey! There is currently an outage affecting Xbox Cloud Gaming and the Xbox Store. You may be unable to access the store and may have trouble starting cloud games or be unexpectedly disconnected from a game after it begins. This is currently being investigated.

I’ve spent 4 hours trying to get this to work, nothing works, I’ve switched to my sons account on my Xbox launched the game and it works? Won’t load on cloud gaming either, I can’t seem to find any other information on it or how i can delete the game save from the cloud as there’s nothing on my Xbox, this is very frustrating

When you get the error message "Something went wrong", do you get some sort of error code with that message?

Please can you also check to see if your Xbox console is up to date?

You can do this by pressing the Xbox button on your controller > Selecting Profile & System > Settings > system > Updates & downloads > Update console.

This should show you if your console needs updating. The console should be on OS Version 10.0.22621.2864 (This will be visible in Settings > System > Console info)
