    Why won't the backwards compatible games show up in owned games?


    So I've wondered for a long time, why hasn't at least most of my digital Xbox 360 games transferred over to my Xbox one s. For example, Gta V(xbox 360 Edition), i had that on the Xbox 360 and that wasn't transferred over. Or maybe even Marvel Lego Super Heroes (Xbox 360 Edition). The only few games that transferred over would be Halo 3, AirMech Arena, Assasins Creed 2, Call Of Duty Black Ops, Crackdown, Crackdown 2, Doritos Crash Course, Fable 3, Harms Ways, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Saints Row The Third, Peggle 2, and lastly Toy Soldiers: Cold War. All i wonder is why any other of my xbox 360 backwards compatible games did not transfer over.

    Anything you bought digitally should show under your Games and Apps as ready to install. If you own any of the games on disc, you would have to use the disc which is why they won't show on their own.

    But what about Sonic the hedgehog 4 Episode 2? I had that one the old Xbox 360 as well. While also Halo 4, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic CD, The Legend of Korra, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, most backwards compatible 360 games that u can pay and cannot pay for i already owned previously on the Xbox 360.

    That game is not backwards compatible, so it won't work on a One. In order for backwards compatible games to show up for your son on the One, they would need to be purchased on his account.
