Why won’t my xbox work in My room

So this problem have been going on for a week now. My xbox didn’t work in my room so i tried everything like reset unplug wait a few minutes but it still didn’t work but I went To the living room And the living room got the receiver, and stuff. So I plugged it and in it work perfectly so I tried to do it in my room again but it didn’t work. I was over my friends house a day I had my Xbox with me so I tried in his room and it didn’t work so I went back into the living room and it work I really don’t understand why this is happening I’m still over my friend house trying to get it to work and his room but my gamer tag is we rated r or ctrlthaball.

Does it connect via Ethernet?

How far is your room from the router? What kinds of structures are between you? Have you tried a wired connection?

Sounds like you have interference issues.

I agree. I hate having to plug my phone in across the room because it won’t charge when it is connected to my xbox.

Hi!

It's strange, have you tried to restore the console to
factory settings? In this way, the console should return to work. You can also keep the data related to applications or games, just select "Reset and keep my games & apps" option.

Keep in mind, new releases can contain bugs which are fixed in later patches. Technical bugs cannot be transferred to another title.
