Why won't my Xbox Wireless Headset work?

My xbox wireless headset is blinking orange slowly and when it does connect it continues to blinking orange it says fully charged on the xbox and the sound from the headset stops when the mic is muted it won't let me turn it off it just blinks orange, it was working fine right before it happened, I turned it on so I could pair it to my series x and it turned on my xbox one so I turned off the xbox one and that's when it started to blink orange. I tried resettingthe headset and it disconnects it from my xbox but it still is on. I need some help on how I can fix this issue I tried everything at this point.
