    Why won't my Xbox turn on?


    Yesterday afternoon I was on my Xbox for a short period before it turned itself off and I wasn't able to turn it on for the rest of the day. When I tried, the boot up sound would happen but the light would turn on for a second then turn off. My power brick
    was also red. I stopped trying after multiple times yesterday and thought I'll just let it cool off and check again tomorrow so I unplugged everything and waited the next day only to see that when I try to turn it on, there is a very faint boot up sound and
    the light won't even turn on. The power brick is also blinking red now. I don't really know what is happening anymore. Does anybody know what is happening?

    For me, it is an honor to write to you and try to help you in any way possible, for my part I will do my best to try to solve any questions/problems you are presenting.

    I'm sorry to hear that you are having this problem, perhaps when cleaning your console you accidentally moved the power supply cable, therefore I suggest you reset the internal power supply, follow these steps:

    1. Unplug the power cord from the console.
    2. Wait 10 seconds.
    3. Reconnect the cable to the console and then press the Xbox button on the front of the console.

    If the console turns on, the internal power reset worked. Perform this step if the problem occurs again. And if the problem persists you can take a look at the following link where you can find more information regarding this problem:

    Red light on the brick is power supply failure, you need a new one.

    Sorry to hear you are having issues, I would suggest the first place to look for help with this issue is the Your Xbox One console
    won't turn on     support page. Hopefully this will help you troubleshoot and id3btify what is going on with your console.

    It's funny, I just got off the phone with Microsoft Support. I explained exactly what was happening and they told me I had a damaged console.

    But, based on your comment, I will be trying a new power supply.
