    I have an Xbox series s, and I have it set to home Xbox, but whenever I go offline, my Xbox tells me I can't play games and to "make this Xbox the home Xbox" even though it already is, and I've found no solutions

    Hi ARandomTeen,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues playing offline on your Home Xbox.

    Making a console your home Xbox gives friends and family access to your games and content when you're not signed in. Your home Xbox also lets you play your digital games offline.

    If you want to make a different console your home Xbox:

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

    Do either of the following to change the status of your console:

    To make this your home Xbox, select Make this my home Xbox.

    Important: When you switch your home Xbox, your shared licenses will no longer be available to others playing on your old home console. You'll need to be signed in online to your old Xbox console to allow them to play your games and apps (when you're not on your new home console).

    Your ability to play games while offline will also shift to your new home console. Redownloading or launching any games on the new home console will register the license to that console allowing for offline use.

    You can switch your home Xbox up to five times in any one-year period. If you reach your limit for the year, we'll show you the next available date you can change it.

    Then why advertise it as a feature. The Xbox app itself won't load, how is anyone supposed to play anything offline. It work 3 years ago. I'm gonna guess this is a Windows 11 bug. My windows 10 desktop works fine but, the laptop on windows 11 won't.

    Hmm, well, I definitely won't have a different Xbox. I'm not sure why I would have to recover my account anyway, considering I can technically still use it to play offline. Can anyone that got their account back speak to the achievement issue?

    Xbox games pass ultimate games to be connected to be online to be sure it's the correct licence, that is why it won't work in offline :).
