    Why won't my Xbox One won't download games on discs?


    My Xbox One won't download the game discs I put it. I've tried almost everything. I've tried restarting the whole console several times, I've tried deleting my account off of my brother-in-law's Xbox, and I've tried several suggestions on YouTube and none
    worked. Whenever I put a game disc in, it doesn't pop up for download. It's like it thinks there's no disc in there at all. I can download games that aren't discs on my Xbox but I just can't download the discs I put in I don't know what to do.

    Freezing my bits off

    Why is my game download stopping during the download. Once it's stopped the console is then affected, games won't play, some settings options won't open. I've done the hard reset a thousand times and factory reset twice. ps, I have an xbox one x ,it's 6
    months old.

    XBOX 360 DLC won't download on XBOX ONE

    On black ops 2 (my Xbox 360 version) I had all DLCs except for nuke town zombies, I just downloaded the game on my Xbox one and it won't let me download the DLCs, why is that?!

    have you tried power cycling it? if that doesn't work there may be a problem with the disc tray.

    Hello Peef,

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Sorry to hear that you are having issues installing games from disc on your Xbox one. If you haven't already, can you try installing them while in offline mode?

    Cancel any installations, then go into your network settings. Select "Go offline". Then you can go back to the home screen and insert the disc.

    Let us know the results.

    My Black Ops 3 disc is perfect. No scratches or anything. I bought it a few years back and played it a lot. I had all the dlc too. I uninstalled it for space when Black Ops 4 came out. I didnt like that game so I wanted 3 back, but the game had disappeared
    from the store and my games and apps (ready to install). I had spent $100 on a game that i cant even play anymore and it is very annoying. I can even download all my dlc, but not the game. I dont want to spend another $60 on the bundle to play a game I already
    own. This is the only place I can contact someone who might respond, I've tried everywhere else.

    P.S. all other discs work just fine
